Blind Spot vision statement

Immersion Experiences

Interested in hosting an event? Here are some options! There are some funds set aside for community events like the following, because at Blind Spot, we feel strongly that if you go through an immersion experience, you instantly raise your bar of expectations for the blind and can become a better friend to them.

Have an idea for something else? We love creating new immersion experiences and would be happy to work with you to plan one! Contact us and we will figure it out together. All events sponsored by Blind Spot Foundation.

Invite your friends over, up to 10 people total, to enjoy a dining experience utilizing all of their senses, except their sight. This is a great experience and allows guests the opportunity to better understand a little bit of what it's like to be blind and it always bring about wonderful and insightful questions.

Kids Obstacle Course

Children wearing blindfolds in gym guiding each other through obstacle courses

We set up the course, you bring the kids! One child will be blindfolded and another will be their sighted guide. We will instruct both the one who is blindfolded and the sighted child how to best be successful as partners. This creates a great learning opportunity for you to become aware of how to help someone else who is visually impaired.
